Subject: Bottom out too much IP: Logged
Message: I have an 03 RT with 2 inch blocks in the back, 3 inch Springtech in the front with Belltech Nitro Active shocks all the way around. My rear end is fine, but the front bottoms out on almost everything. At first i cut the bump stops, but i had to remove them totally for more clearance. Is there anything i can do to stop this? I thought the Belltechs were pretty good? ANyways someone help please..

Message: Was looking at this problem the other day. May need to clearance the frame for the lower A-arms or something drastic like that.
Aren't you rubbing the front tire on the wheelwell with 3" drop, or did the drop not yield 3"? Just asking 'cause I'm only 2" in front and it would be close on some bumps (if I had new tires I'm sure it'd rub)

Message: Well the 3" isnt a true 3 inch because its made for a non R/T i guess.. hence i only get 2 inch drop.. i'd say i got about 2.25 from the front. My front right tire wore out really quick.. i can assume from rubbing/bottoming out or alignment. Im taking my truck into the shop monday because i think my ball joints are bad. I hear popping sounds, grinds, squeeks.. very annoying. We'll see if they even mess with it since I lowered it.. later
