Subject: LOL 7" raer drop and no c notch = BAD

LOL. I knew it was going to happen, but I did it anyways. I brought my truck down another 2" in the rear even though I haven't got my c notch yet. (just couldn't wait one more week) LMAO. DON'T DO IT PEOPLE!!! Let's just say that the 1/2 hour ride back home wasn't very nice. It looks sweet as hell, but DAMN. I finally got my baby sitting even now. The c-notch will be in next weekend, so this will be solved. Just thought I'd share my stupidity due to impatience.

buddy of mine did that with his 4 banger
98...been that low in the rear for a couple of
years now with no c-notch, hes riding on
frame, his rearend is probably hammered.

right now, mine is 6" in the rear w/ no bump
stops, so far so good, (knock on wood) will
probably order some low profile stops, or just
cut an inch off the stock ones.

low99dakota,
i was too cheap at first for a quality lowering kit. i just but 3" blocks on and removed 3 leafs out of each spring pack... man was that a painful ride. the stock shocks never knew what hit them!

Damn, and your back didn't break? LOL That sounds painful. The 2" blocks that I put in finally made my truck sit level. Hindsight being 20/20 I definately should have waited for that c-notch, but on the plus side I have a feeling I won't have to line it up too much to know where to cut the frame, just look for the dents!! Anyways, did you get that sent out bro? Is so do you know the tracking # so I can see when it is going to get here. My friend is kindof reserving the auto hobby shop. He needs a days notice so we can get in, so I need to tell him the (scheduled) day of delivery. Thanks!
