Message: I was wondering where is the best place to get a kit like this for an 02 dakota V6. I was looking at the DJM 3/5 kit. I have heard the 3inch control arms have a lot of problems so I wasn't sure if i should risk it. I was in the process of buying the coil and hanger 3/5 kit used(I'm still hoping to get it) but I was wondering could I use this and than put a 2inch control arm on? I'm assuming if I did this than I would get about a 3-4 inch drop in the front since the coil wouldn't give me a full 3 inch drop with my 6. Does anyone have an suggestions or possible better ideas?? Thanks

Message: I have the 3 inch control arms and have had no problems, and they give u exactly 3 inches.. You can try stylinconcepts.com. You can get the price knocked down a lot if you just haggle with them a little bit.

Message: Go with the a-arms they give the ful 3 inches you may or may not get that from coils. The install wasn't too hard I did the front and rear myself. The truck rides and drives like it did before the install. The only problem I had was one of my wheel weights hit the lower a-arm when the wheel was turned all the way. I pulled the tire off and flatened the weight a little with a hammer...no more problems and the truck looks great. Just make sure you get the wheels aligned right after you finish. The lowering put the toe waaaayyyy out. I have not noticed the reduced turning radius or any of the other problems I saw on this board.

Message: Incog,
I don't know what arms you have but the turning radius was not affected. Like I said the damn wheel weights rubbed on the a-arm. I don't know how you can turn any sharper than that. As for the tab...there was no tab on my DJM arms. Maybe I have a newer design than you. When I spoke to the guy at the DJM tech line he said they were on their 3rd design maybe that's the difference
