My club cab R/T sits pretty level with the Hotchkis and bilsteins. I also have reg cab rear bilsteins which probabaly helps it sit more level. Put some 1" blocks in the back.

hotckis is a 2/3 drop, leaving 1 inch of rake. to get a even drop you'd need to drop the rear 1 more inch, as the stock rake is 2".

i just saw you had an r/t, so it gave you a 1/2 drop.

360dak,

I just installed the Hotchkis springs and shocks and noticed the same thing.

Mine is a 99 R/T regular cab and their web site said it would be a 1" front and 3" rear drop.

My front ended up with a 2" drop. It was lower in the front than the back, this bothered me also.

Later that day I was reading the sheets that came with the front springs and it says that 1912F is for 6 cyl and 1913F is for 8 cyl.

So it turns out they sent me V6 springs.

Did you get 1912F springs or 1913F springs ?

I called Hotchkis about it and they told me they always give the 1912F springs to regular cab owners. I told him that I expected a 1" drop which would of been a level drop all around.

I asked him what drop I would get with the 1913F spring and he said it would drop about 1".

So, I ordered the 1913F springs and I will return the 1912F springs and I hope I will end up with the 1" front drop I expected.

I also told them they should correct their web site information.

I hope to have the springs replaced soon.

This is a long post but I thought it would interest you.

Gotta watch Hotchkis. I once ordered a pair of drop springs
from them and only got one in the box. They almost didn't
believe me but sent the other spring. How the F can you screw
that up as a shipper? Who orders one spring?

Hey WAM, I got the Hotchkis TVS with the 1913F springs for my 99 reg.cab RT and I also got a 2" drop, so don't expect it to sit any different than it does right now. It did some tire slicin' on my taller 20in. tires. I put in an spring spacer to lift the front about 1". A block in the rear would work just as well if you have the room available.

Maybe every truck is different but I replaced the 1912F springs with the 1913F springs today. It brought the front back up about an inch.

So for my truck at least, using the 1913F springs, I got the 1" drop in the front and the 3" drop in the back and its now level.

Just for information sake, the worst part of this job for me was removing the front factory bump stops.
