Message: Hay Im thinking about putting air bags on my 98 SLT and my friend told me that I have to slam the whole truck first and then do the air bags. Also How much dose a whole airbag system cost without the install, just the parts I need.
Message: your friend should open a shop. he would make a killing charging people to drop the truck, and then to bagg it.
some parts go with either setup, like a C/step notch, A-arms (you dont really need them on a bagged dakota. it just depends what size rims you go with)
if you run a 4-link on the rear (i would if i were to bag mine) you dont need any lowering parts on the rear
