Subject: help 2/4 lowering kit & "cuda" exhaust
IP: Logged

Message:
i installed the "cuda" style exhaust on my V6 dakota and now i am going to lower it with a 2/4 lowering kit from belltech. i was just looking for input & help from anyone who has done the same. will the exhaust pipes hit the axle when i hit bumps in the road or go over things like speed bumps & potholes? do i have to do modifications to the exhaust.

also has anyone installed the 2/4 belltech nitro-active lowering kit themselves? how do you like it? was it hard to install?

any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

you'll want to get that exhaust as high as possible up under the bed and tucked up at the 10'clock position near the differential.

you'll need all the clearance you can get with a 4 inch drop in the rear.

i think i still have a few pics up of my old cuda system and a 2-3 drop...
