If your'e puttin a 3" front drop on a Gen III dakota your stock tires WILL RUB. Anything over 28" in overall diameter for the tire is gonna hit the fenderlip.

i had a chassis tech 3/4 drop with my stock r/t rims and tires and they didnt rub the fenderlip. but the did touch the frame when i turned the wheel all the way over. it only really mattered if i was parking or something like that.
