Subject: R/T springs IP: Logged
Message: i have a 2003 SXT 2wd and i am looking at droping it. i was wondering if the R/T springs would drop it at all and if they do how much would they drop my truck?

Message: You'll get about an inch. Save your money. Have the stock rears re-arched and get some aftermarket front coils.

Message: why would you want to re-arch you rear leafs? ride would become bouncy. changing the spring would be a much better ride or go with the shackle and hanger kit.

Message: If he want to do it reasonably and only needs a couple of inches then the re-arching of the rears is the way to go. Why would it become bouncy? You are not changing the spring rate, just the height. Shackles and hangers are a good way to do it, but re-arching is still way easier.
