Message: i have a 4" drop on the front of my 98, and i have no complaints about travle. i have a 2" spring and a 2" A-arm

Message: 2" a-arm + 2" coil spring....go 6" or 7" in back.
you will need a c-section for the rear frame.
Took about 4 hours to lower my truck...used 3"
DJM control arms and 5" shackle hangers
(added a 1" block couple of weeks later) Your
drop should take about the same, depending
on if you use the shackle hanger setup or
leafs and blocks...drilling out the stock rivets
in the rear is a pain, but worth it.
kotaon20's has a 4-6 drop, he has pics in the
member gallery, looks good, but dakotas sit
raked with a 3-5 or 4-6 drop, my
recomendation is to go 3" extra in the rear, not
2" extra.

Message: yea, if you look at my truck you will see the rear sits exactly 1" higher in the rear. eventually one day i will lower it, but i'v been kinda lazy lately
