Subject: Tuck 20's? IP: Logged
Message: Hey everybody, I've got a 97 Dakota on air ride. It lays frame now, but I'd like to put 20's on it eventually. Does anyone know what size I'd need to go with to get them to tuck? (width that is) I'll probably go w/ a 35 or 40 series tire.
If you could just tell me the width and/or offset I need to look for.
THANKS ALOT!

Message: Thanks for the reply... Did you have to get rid of your plastic "inner fender" in front? - and what width rim did you go with? mine are 18x8 right now, i've seen 'em w/ 18x7's but i've never heard of a 20x7....
Any other Fab work to get them in the rear?
Thanks!

Message: If you want the truck to layout the crossmember... Then yes you will have to cut out the plastic piece and almost the entire fender and some supports from under the hood... Your airbox will have to go along with the windshieldwasher resevoir, and a couple computers will need to be moved.... Believe me its alot harder to tuck 20s then people think it is... But its worth it in the end!!!
