Subject: Need help steering loose! IP: Logged
Message: OK guys need your help/advice again. Here is the situation. I just redid my suspension because it was too low and rode really bad. I had 2 inch drop arms on it with R/T coils and it seemed as if there was something loose in the front end after about 10,000 miles being lowered.
OK so here is what I replaced
- moogs upper bjoints
- new tie rod ends
- factory lower control arms (stock ball joints)
- new doestch tech shocks
- Wester Chassis 2 inch drop coils
- Alignment
- Front and rear energy suspension sway bar
bushing set
Ok so it drove like a dream for about 3 weeks and now it is back to driving horrible.
When I go over consecutive bumps on the freeway it feels like I dont even have control of the truck the steering wheel shakes so much. If it is like one bump it is fine and if the road is smooth it is fine also.
Could this be worn control arm bushings? It really has me puzzled! Would bad wheel bearings cause this?
Any help or advice is appreciated! Drew
