i want to get about a 2/4 or 3/5 drop on my 97 completely stock dakota. i have little money so i was thinkin that i could get 2 inch springs in front and 4 inch blocks in back with new shocks. would that work cause i dont know about this stuff. is there any other cheap was to do this or get the 3/5. thanks for any info

Yea, you could do that.
I have 3" coils and 4" blocks with 4 lowered shocks. But you might not like the ride with the blocks. It's really rough.
I'm switching out my blocks for a shackle/hanger kit soon. It has a much smoother ride.
