Subject: Lowering a QC Dak IP: Logged
Message: Hi guys,
I'm buying an 02 QC Dak tomorrow and I want to figure out how I'm going to lower it. I'm thinking 1/1, 1/2, or 2/2...just a mild drop and R/T rims. I may just do blocks for the rear, but anyone have experience lowering the rear with 2" drop leafs? Could I use R/T leafs on a QC? How would the affect my payload/towing?
Thanks
Sean

Message: I have lowered my '01 Dak QC 1"/2".
cut 3/4 coil in front
2" block in back
17" wheels with 275/60s
send me and email, I'll reply with pictures.
I'm extremely satisfied the the lowering option I chose.

Message: I reccomend the V8.
I have the V6 with 3.55 gears.
The QC is quite a bit of truck for the V6, especially with the 3.55 gears. If you get the V6, make sure you get the 3.90 gears. I'm not toally disappointed with the performance. It has done everthing that I've asked of it, just not quickly.
