Has anybody used AIM suspension products (justcoilsprings.com). They've got great prices ($69 pair for 2" drop coils, $119 pair 3" drop leafs) but I'm wondering about the quality since these prices are about half of others I've seen. Anyone have a dropped '87-'91? What drop?

NO NO NO NO NO...dont by AIM...there is a
reason why their prices are cheap...cheap
product.
Why would you skimp on one of the most
important safety components of your car...get
a good spring...hotchkis, DJM, Western
Chassis, If any part of your suspension
breaks, low speed or high speed, it could be
deadly...
I used their components in my 98 s-10...poor
quality, poor fit (made the truck sit crooked),
poor technical assistance, expensive to
ship(yeah, their springs are cheap, but they
are based in Arizona, unless you live close,
you get reamed on the shipping, other places
will ship for free, so overall price for a good
spring and an AIM spring would be about the
same)
just my opinion, but wait till you get other hits
on this thread...lots of AIM haters out there.

AIM rarely will ship you a matching pair of springs and if you are lucky, you will get the correct drop from them. I have a buddy that ordered a set of 2" springs and they sent him 4" springs and tried to charge him for shipping and a 35% restocking fee when he wanted to exchange them.

i ordered the Chassis Tech ladder bars from them...they are pretty good so far. i just had to grind a little out of the axle mounting plates because it was for a smaller axle tube. I paid $299 for them and Autobahn Wholesalers sell the same thing for $555. Now they do hit you on the shipping... paid $59 to ship and he didn't even know where he was shipping to when he quoted that price.
now i would have to say i wouldn't ever buy springs from them...or even control arms for that matter.

Hey I don't have a dacota but i can tell you not to go AIM...I ordered F.B.S.S for my full size chevrolet and the front cups didn't fit, the bags were too big, they sent the wrong 4-link, and they are damn slow when processing returns....My truck has been down for about 7 weeks now due to their mistakes...it pisses me off and im about to hit them hard

OK, i SERIOUSLY think that i got the only set of good springs from AIM! (sorry guys :) i got 3" drop coil springs, then cut 1/2 a coil off, and i think they're great. but no one else likes them. the only bad opinion i have of them is that hell yeah they overcharge shipping. those $69 springs have $30 shipping! but like i said, i guess i'm the only one.

It that Gainesvilles UF? Im there too. Live at Campus Club off Archer and 75. Funny, I have a 1990 Dak lifted and all that stuff blue and silver. Never seen you around tho. Maybe sometime huh.
About AIM, I have their rear lift hangers. They seem to be ok. No problems yet. But I dont want to slap myself here. But may peoplle dont like um. Buy at own risk...

Joe E. hell yeah! i was wondering how long it'd be til i found someone around here. I'll keep an eye out for your truck. i live off 35th place. And if u see my truck, it'd probably be late at night. I deliver for Jimmy Johns on Archer and usually work nights (i work tuesday), and go to campus club every once in a while. but i'll keep a lookout. Peace
