Aloha dudes and duddettes,

Rain sux in hawaii now!! My Y2K Dak stahled on me after i went through a deep river of water tonite. I went through it prettty smooth cause right after the puddle i flew on the freeway. When i stopped at a stop light after it started to run funny and later died on me. i tried starting it and it ran for a little while and died. it starts fine until i put into drive. when i gas it my truck died out. i did this for like 5 minutes and stopped. i did again and my truck ran good with no problems.

My question is what should i do to see if there is anything wrong with it since it stahled for a little while. is my engine okay? exhaust? tranny? i have a drop kit with about 3" in front and 5" in the back. any help is appreciated.

Mahalo,
Scotty

if there is water in your engine in a sizeable amount it would die and not crank. Liquid is not compressable and therefore the motor would be hydro-locked. since you drove it down the hyw. this is not the case. Check your plug wires start the truck, pop the hood, spray 'em with water if it dies or stumbles they are bad. start there and let me know what happens.
