Subject: Will AR Maxims tuck with air??? IP: Logged
Message: My truck has been bagged all summer, but I just now got a set of 18" AR Maxims but dont have tires for them yet. Im not sure on the backspacing but what size tires should I get to possibly tuck(up front)? I was thinking 245/40 18 Falkens???

Message: Bad news.
AR Maxims won't tuck at all. I really doubt it. I have them on my truck with BFG 235/50/18 and they stick out of the entire wheel well about 1/2 inch or so. Unless you narrow your rear end or modify the rims, i doubt that they'll tuck.

Message: i'm gonna have to agree; they'll camber in enough to tuck in the front, but in back, they'll be resting on the fenders (or, the fenders will rest on the tires).
i have the AR Nooz, they're the same width and offset, and they're NOT gonna tuck in back! you're gonna have to shorten the axle.
but, as far as tire size for the front(if you're still keeping em). i have 235/40/18s in front, and 235/50/18s in back; if i go over a dip, i scrape in front, SO those would let u lay out; 245/40 would probably be perfect too...peace
