Subject: Window Crank Removal Help IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 Regular Cab. I am going to upgrade the factory door speakers. I know there is a clip on the crank to remove it. Ive looked and I couldnt see the clip. Is it between the panel and the plastic "doughnut" or is it between the "doughnut" and the crank itself. Do I need a special tool to remove and install it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Message: tis behind the gasket. it's a little biatch so keep watch, you may need to rotate your crank a little bit. They sell a little spiral looking tool that pulls it out, I believe this is what DakSport is talking of.
