don't just bag on someone because they don't know, it's possible. you just have to read a lot about the install. first, find all you can on the internet. i installed my hotchkis kit myself at only 19 years old and no suspension experience whatsoever. i actually found about 4 different reviews on how to put the kit on, including some very good help from people on this site telling me the hangup's not included in the directions

Shackles and Hangers don't really go in the "ease of installation" category.

Blocks are much easier, but don't do it. Do a S/H kit. You can get a 5" S/H kit from a few places. That's what I want. My 4" blocks are just a pain in the ass.

Or if you wanted, you could do the (more available) 4" shackle/hanger kit and a 1" block. As long as the blocks aren't too big (like my 4" bastards) then the ride quality won't suffer hardly at all.

As for the 3" in front, coils would be easier, but you might not get a full 3" (like i didn't). So control arms might be better, but they're much more expensive.

hahah, ya, shackles are definately a PITA but the only way to go (unless you go leaf springs). worth it in the end. coils are easy up front.
