 Subject: Western Chassis Leaf Spring Help?

Hey, I don't have a dodge dakota but maybe someone can answer my question, I have a 97 silverado ext. cab and i ordered 4" drop leaf springs from western chassis and when they're in the shape of my factory leaf springs that I took off, the pin that fits in the mount on the rear axle is on the top, when it should be on the bottom, and on the bottom they are a treaded bolt and nut ... does anyone know if you supose to flip them upside down and make them fit in the shackle and hanger or what
