Hey guys, ive got the front suspension of my truck ready to go now, but i need to figure out what im going to do for the rear. For the front i have 2" hotchkis coils and 2" djm control arms. Im hoping for between 3.5" to 4" total depending on how much the coils actually lower it. Now, for the back i want about 5" all together. I really want he hotchkis 3" leafs, but i dont know how i should get the 2" extra i want. I have a choice of blocks or hangers. Would taking all that time grinding off rivits just for 2" really be worth it or just go with blocks? Ive heard blocks give bad wheel hop, but would 2" blocks create much problem? Or should i just go with the 5" shackle/hanger kit from djm. Sorry for the long post, but i want a truck that will look nice and low but still handle super well with hotchkis and a little extra.

i'm running 3" drop leafs and 2" blocks and have had no problems so far

I think this is the better way to go instead of the hangers. (too much work)

i had blocks with my stock 318, it was a very choppy ride. Now i still have the blocks with my built 318, and i can't keep(the blocks bend and move) them in the same spot, not to mention terrible wheel hop. I had some two inch belltech blocks in there, and i had to switch to 3 inch when the first set got mangle by the torque, and my truck is not insanly powerful by any means. So now it has cost me the price of shackles/hangers, by replacing blocks. Don't waste your time do it right , saty away from blocks
