 Subject: Coils for V6 on V8

I'm trading for a Belltech lowering kit(2,4) online, my question is this....
If the kit has 2 in drop springs for a V6, will they hold the extra weight of the 318, and what will the appx. ACTUAL lowering be with the added weight? Thanks for your help in advance, by the way, my truck is a 98 Sport 5.2 2WD Reg. Cab with 3:55's and LSD. My only mods so far is a system, 180 degree thermostat, and a muffler delete(had to get cat replaced under warranty, told them to leave the rusty old muffler off.)
