Subject: Lowering an RT

Message:
I have a 99 regular cab RT,with a Leer truck cap on the bed.I want to lower it somewhat, probably just a couple of inches.I live in New England, lots of bumpy roads,so I cant go too low.The truck looks like it is taller since the cap went on,and I think the weight of the cap sags the rear slightly,so I think lower in the front would be best.I was thinking about running boards or fx to give it a lower look, but think if I lower it,the truck will benefit more than if it had boards or fx.I dont want to spend a fortune, but need some advice on this, thanks

just do a mild drop on it. putting running boards on a R/T (or any truck for that matter) will look like crap IMHO.
