Message:
i was talking to my friend who was going to help me drop my truck but i dunno because he said i would have to grind the bolts on the hangers or some crap to change the hangers to lower. ive never heard of anyone doing this, whats up with that?

or is it just the hanger eye and i dont have to change the whole hanger peice, and grind anything.

thanks. i was looking at the 3/5" drop with 4" shackles/hangers and 3" coil springs. if needed a 1" block to finish off the 3/5 if i dont like the 3/4

yes, painfully, you do have do grind the 16 bolts that hold the 4 hangers in place. I suggest using a torch if you can, but not on the left front hanger(right in front of gas tank). The kit you have includes the 4 new hangers, which will be the replacements, and give you a good drop. Hope the info helps!

yes, u do have to grind, first use a small drill bit to center punch the rivet, then grind off the head, and use a large drill to finish the job. the ones by the gas tank are hard to get to. it will take an entire weekend, if u have air tools, it will be ALOT faster. what kind of coils are u gonna get? do the 3/4, 3/5 might not be level b/c most 3 in coils are really 2.5
