I have a 97 dakota sport and i want to lower it. i want it pretty low but i dont know how low is too low. I want to put 20"s on it too but i dont know if it will fit. If anyone has pics of lowered with 20"s and/or comments on what to do please let me know.

I recently dropped my buddys 2000 dakota (3.9L 2wd) and the kit (God Father Customs) included 2" drop coils for the front and the 4" drop hangers for the rear. The rear dropped the full 4", but the front is still not lower than, or as low as the rear. We also put all new drop shocks on it to. What would cause the front not to go as low?

if you did the 3/4 it would be low and 20s will work fine with 35 series tires. i would do a 2/4 like said before it will sit lower in the rear i dont have 20 in my picture but i just got some and need to find a dc to get some pics

The springs are made for the v8 dakotas,you can still use them but there supposed to be made to handle the extra weight of the v8's your buddies prolly sits an inch higher in the front.
