I would like to know everyones opinion on :

* Belltech 2"/4" drop with front coil springs/hangers $429.95
* DJM 3"/5" drop with lower control arms/hanger-shackle $629.95

Install pros/cons, ride quality, and anything else you'd like to throw in.

The question is also, do those kits come with shocks?

Even if they did, i'm sure you could get a better price by just piecing the parts together. 2" coils for like $60-$70, hangers for about $100, and i got some good shocks for $100 for all four. That would put you in the $260 range, rather than $430, like the Belltech kit.

That DJM kit isn't too bad cause Control Arms will run you well around $250 new. And shackles and hangers won't be cheap either.

But all in all, i'd just piece together what you want to get the desired height. Want 3" up front, go with a 3" coil, or 2" Control Arms and 1" coils. You know, just mix and match. I'm sure you can find some good buys from people on this board.

My 3/4 drop is that way, coils and blocks...although i really want to ditch the blocks for shackles and hangers.

Get the Belltech 2/4. Don't go with control arms. The control arms will ride better but you cant turn worth a sh*t! And also, if you plan to use blocks. Dont go any bigger than 2" blocks. You could use 2" blocks and 2" hangers in the rear along with 2" coils up front. That would be a cheap combo and not a too bad ride

What I had before I got bags was the 3" springs from spring tech $75, then I got the 5" h/s kit from DJM through stylin concepts for like $175, I never upgraded shocks, and it didnt ride too bad at all, but you do have to upgrade the bumpstops.

I have the 3/5 DJM kit bro.. It looks tight. You wont get a full 2" drop with the Bell tech schocks. Control Arms drop you a full three inches. You lose a little turn radius, but since you want to lower your truck.. All Show baby! You'll like a 3/5 drop more anyway
