i have a 97 dakota dropped 3/5
255/35/20
i wnat to run 275/40/20
but 275/45/20 are so much cheaper! (131 each) could i run 45 series if i take off my fender flares? thanks

i run the 275/45/20 on a 2/3 drop and no fender flares and they rub every once in a while, but with a 3/5 i think it will be constant rubbing and may not be worth it

they barely fit when i turn, like i couldnt even fit my pinkie between the tire and the wheel well when fully turning, they rub vertically in the wheel well and on the fender when i hit big bumps going kinda fast

so do u think il be fine wit 275/40/20 ? also if u press down on your bed or bumper, do your tires visually rub the fender? thanks

it will most likely rub when u try and turn all the way but it will be fine in the back. my tires do not rub the rear fender when i press down on the bed, could go down a couple more inches

yes they are higher in price, but its worth the extra sidewall and tread foot
