 Subject: My Coil Spring Broke ???

Hey guys have you ever herd of this happening is this commen at all, yesterday i was drivig and i herd this loud pop when i hit a bump, and yep the coil broke, i have a djm 4.6 drop, is this commen ive hed it installed like over 2 years now and then this happens, also is it commen for me to be going thru lower ball joints like crazy, 4 times in 2 years, let me know what you guys think thanks

That is very uncommon especially with quality parts like DJM. You might wanna give them a call and see if they will replace it for you!!

Ya I got an email out their, but I don't have my sales receipt, does any one have any problems like this with chassis tech!

ACtually I have never heard of any coil breaking. CHassis Tech's biggest problem is that when you get a set of their coils, they may or may not be the same coils!! I have installed some and one side of the truck is 3" lower than the other....and we checked to make sure they were seated many times!

ya the guy that lowered my truck also cut my stock spring and put it back under it he said that he has been doing this, for over 20 years and has NEVER seen this happen, or herd of it happening, my luck is great i tell ya! haha but when it happened, i was like it feel down an inch, what in the world could have caused that, ive had trucks fall on me before blown bags and what not but never something like this crazy i tell ya!
