Message: my truck is making a strange rattling noise and it seems to be coming from the bed
it also seemed to do it after i had it lowered with a 2-4 belltech lowering kit

Message: if you're sure everything is tight and it's a Dakota, check your cat convertor. They are famous for shelling out. And if you are under 80k miles, it should be covered under the warrenty. hope this helps

Message: i lowered mine 5" in the rear and i've had this rattling for awhile now. I have no idea what it is at all. I've looked at everything.
Thought it was the tool to let the spare tire down but no.
I used drop leafs in the back and i made sure i greased them so it's not them squeaking.
