Subject: My 2000 Dodge Dakota IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota and I need to put rims on it. But i know nothing about this and am trying to learn as i go and i have done and ass load of reading. But what size is a good size i mean can i just slap some 18's and be good? any help would be great.

Message: First off they dont make $hit for our bolt pattern. 6x4.5 is the bolt pattern you need to put on your dak. You can go 17,18,19,20, and 22 if you want. But the bigger the rim the smaller the tire must be (if you are lowered or gonna be lowered) If your at stock height and don't plan on getting lower, then tire size or wheel size doesnt really matter. There are plenty of topics on this forum about your ?'s just run a search.

Message: I would go with 18" they are plenty big for a dakota.
The tire size realy depends on the height of your truck. My truck has a 3/5 drop with 245/55/18. they are the exact height of the stock 15" wheel and tire both and I have no rubbing at all
