First of all, I'm pretty sure that nobobdy makes spindles for any dakota yet. Make sure you know what you are buying. You will have to C-notch the rear or you'll be riding on the bumpstops. If you are going for 4" in the front, I would use 2" a-arms and 2" springs. Hope that helps

He wont need to put a c-notch in. Just replace the bump stops with slimmer ones.

no c-notch needed for 5" rear drop, "riding on
bumpstops"...no!, no low profile bump stops
needed. hell, I rode mine @ 5" in the rear for a
long time and it never hit the bump stops... I
just cut an extra inch off the stock bump stops
when I made it 6" in the rear. get 2" lower a-
arm and 2 inch spring for 4" drop...drop
spindles for dakotas stop at '96. genIII have
no drop spindle available. 4" is a lot in the
front dude. are you sure you want to go that
low w/o airbags?

look at the pics...3" is enough without
airbags...any lower, and you would wish you
had air to adjust it.

I have an RT with a 4"-6" and I needed a C-Notch. I hit on every little bump, even with the bumpstops removed. I also had to get a shortened drive line because it was bottoming out in the tranny.

Be careful
