Message: Rhett, just be sure to look for the tread wear number from the manuf. specs. Anything over 300 you probably want to stay away from. I am running 280 right now and it's pretty soft. I got them back in April. I have put 2500 miles of hwy and 1500 city/town on them and I can already see tread wear on all tires.
Check www.tirerack.com for a lot of information. If you're looking for something with a lot of tread wear, I would look into like the Pirellis. I know they have a size that big for SUVs and Trucks.

Message: xplicit, treadwear is rated the other way:
The higher the treadwear number, the longer it should last. (300 last longer than 200). I dont get anything UNDER 300 anymore. but i do like the pirellis like u said; i have pirellis in front (360 treadwear) and BFG in back(400 treadwear).
and yea, definitely get the tires from tirerack.com or www.discounttiredirect.com, unless u have a reall good hookup!
rhett, i'm not sure about those tires, i had to lie to buy my pirellis 235/40/18 cuz they said the load rating was not hi enuff for my truck. they way he described it kinda scared me but they're holding up pretty well for me so far. Peace
