Subject: Wanting to Bag on my 20s. Need some help IP: Logged
Message: First of all my rimz consist of American Racing Maxims which are 20X8.5 and have an offset of +19mm and backspacing of 5.5 inches with Michelin 245/40 rubber which makes them a tad smaller then the stockers. I have a 3/5 drop on it right now consisting of lower control arms and hangers and shackles. I want to bag my ride. I know that my rimz wont tuck in the back and i was thinking of getting a 91-96 dakota rear end to swap with. I know that these are 2 inches shorter then the 97+ rear ends. Im not sure if that would be enough for them to tuck. Also in the front im not sure if it would be best to put the stock control arms back in and when its slammed from my understanding the front will lean in. Cutting out fenders is not really a big issue. If you could help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

Message: well i cant help you but want to say good luck, i have the same rims and it would be a pain to tuck, which i want to do eventually as well but will probably end up selling the rims and getting some other ones.
