Message: Well lets see what we have here...
1. Depends on how low you want to sit. You will have to cut bumpstops in the front, if you go will a larger bag with more lift you will have to cut your coil pockets out more. In the back, you will drop till your frame hits your axle and it'll will stop. So to completely lay out you will have to cut and weld in a step notch over the rearend.
2. I'm not sure about Canada.
3. Depends on if your doing the labor. Parts will run around ~1000 dollars for a slow system and 1500 to 2000 for a fastbag kit with all the goodies. (Includes FBSS, nice size tank, bags valves, lines, and compressor/ at least 3/8 orifice, and a switch box.) Labor can run probably another 1000 dollars if you want to lay frame.
4. Yeah, just make sure you get a water trap inline with your tank to catch moisture from the system. If you don't it could freeze and seize up the valves. You could be stuck till the temperature comes back up and your able to let air back in. I added tire valves in my sytem just in case my electric solenoid valves ever fail I can still air up at a local gas station.
5. In the front you will only replace your springs with bags, any other equip (such as spindles or lowered arms) will work in conjunction to put you even lower to the ground. The back gets more interesting cause you can run only one leaf and you can keep everything (block, hangers, shackles). You pull all the other leafs out and your truck should be lowered as low as you want it and you use the bags to air back up. You could 4 link it in which you ditch the leafs and your regular lowering equipment.

Message: Any truck can be just bagged for relatively cheap but its the 'lay frame' factor that ties in more money and fabrication. Lay frame is what it sounds like, to lay the frame of truck flat on the ground so hard you can't slide your driver's license under it. There are several things that stop you from doing this. First in the rear, if you notice the frame comes over the rearend and the wheels in the back. You can only drop so low till the frame hits on the axle tubes connecting the rearend together. At this point your frame won't be sitting on the ground or "laid out, laying frame, pancaked" Bigger wheels complicate this by putting your truck further up in the air. To solve this a fabricatior has to step notch over the rearend so your frame looks like this ____/---\____ over the axle. You step it up to clear. This costs extra money. In the front, even with the bags pancaked, you only drop yourself somewhere around 4-5 inches which again with a big wheel combo won't lay your truck down. You have to buy extra parts to finish putting it down like spindles and lowered tubular arms so they don't bind on your frame or anything. Also, almost all model trucks have something that sits lower than the frame, like the gas tank, some sorta crossmember that ties one side of the frame to the other, fabricators have to relocate and replace these parts as well so they don't hold your frame off the ground. The whole point of all this is to be the lowest of the low. After all when your frame is on the ground their ain't no going any lower than that with it. The next part comes in dropping your body of your truck down with the frame so your whole truck appears to sit flat on the ground (Bodydropping). It just depends on how low you want your truck. The lowest of the low cost lots more than a regular setup. And remember there isn't no such thing as a stupid question

Message: my 92' is getin a lot of work done on the front end right now (wreck, GMC Yukons are apprently synonymous with brick, so my front ends pretty beat) once i rebuild it with aftermarket fenders, hood, and new bumper, grill, valance and front assembly. I just need a radiator and im good.
hopefully my motors and tranny are ok (they both slid forward 3-4 inches in the motor compartment into the radiator) it didnt help one motor mount was bad and the other was worn. i only need to move the motor back and make sure the tranny is in tact (its only leakin a lil from the joint between the motor and the tranny... assume the seal is cupped, and have a mechanic in the family)
once that is done tho, i want bags... just a few inches either way, i dont want to lay the frame, just plus or minus a few inches up and down. how cheap you think i can get away with including labor?
www.teamrebel.com/P1010048.JPG -- it doesnt look THAT BAD! hehe...

Message: Labor is killer. I would try to do as much of the work myself as possible. Could end up saving you between 500 to 1k. Everybody can hook up valves and wire the switchs and mount the tanks and compressors. Maybe the only reason you need the shop is to align the bags and weld in the mounts for them.

Message: ok, once i complete fixing the truck... where do i start?>...
i know i need to find where i want to get the bags, or should i just have the shop order them and install them....?
i found a rear 4 link kit for 600$, bolt on, comes with c notches... so from there id only need to install that setup and get bags on it right?... im kinda lost in the order here... id like to get back on the pavement.
is there an issue of truckin or somewhere online that goes through the steps of bagging a truck?...

Message: I just finished baggin my 96 dakota short bed. it cost about 1200 and i had to do it myself. But it does lay frame goes up and down and yes i had to cut lots of parts off. rear shackels, frame, fenders, both front and rear. and if you have the 22 gallon fuel tank be prepared to build a skid plate beacuse my gas tank drags when it's slammed.

Message: don't buy the link for 600 go to aim and you can get a 4-link for 199 but you have to get a couple of extra brackets to make it work, mne cost about 10 for the other brackets, and if you want a bridge kit and rear bag mounts go to suicidedoors.com, there cheep and really good

Message: If you dont lay frame dont do it and dodge is the most expensive to bag. Because of the suspension the tranny cross member hangs so low. If you dont do it fast with like some 1/2 valves it will suck bro promise, you can still run a 3/8 line and run nitrogen (INSTANT AIR BRO) dont have to put up with all that compressor crap you can have just in case but ????? Contact Extensive metal works and they will help you there the best I lay out on 22s ???? later

1. bags suck in the winter.
2.Rear end shortening (www.moser.com)Moser engineering

4.aim sucks
5.www.suicidedoors.com (good sh$t)
6. If you want a fast system and dont mind losing your A/C.Your a/c compressor blows like a mofo.
