They were about an 1/8 inch shy of the 2" drop so about 1 7/8" drop, but I dont have power anything or an automatic trans. ,so an automatic trans.,power accesories, CCab, hard tonneu would probley get the full 2" drop due to more weight.

I would definatly go with springs that are engine specific(V8 or v6) . I'm happy with my beltechs,I've never rubbed a wheel well or hit the bump stops ,they come with shorter Bump stops.

The rims are 16x7, and the tires are 235/55/16.

You could easily fit bigger tires and rims in there with a 2/3.

DON"T USE BLOCKS IN THE REAR!!!!!!!

It's a little tough to see but that wiper cowl is for sale, hand laid f-glass.Only one around
(can't resist the plug)

I just ordered my setup yesterday. Western Chassis drop spindles and shackles/hangers. Belltech Nitro Active shocks. I've been asking around about tire sizes. I bought tires and rims before I decided to drop it. 275/60-15 on 15x8 rear and 235/701-5 on 15x7 front. We'll see if they fit. :)

for the belltech shackle/hanger kit, isn't it a 4" drop?
The belltech guys told me to use the rear hanger (for a 2" drop) and a 1" block for the rest, but they couldn't tell me about the pinion angle?

OR did you get the western chassis shackles?and lastly, are they available for a 93?I HATE MY DAMN BLOCKS!

Sorry. I'm getting Western Chassis spindles and Western Chassis shackles/hangers. The shackles hangers are adjustable for 3", 3.5", or 4" of rear drop. I'm going with 3" myself. Belltech tech support told me I couldn't use their rear shackle/hanger kit since my truck is a club cab and it would screw up the pinion angle. The Western Chassis stuff is just as good and it's cheaper anyway.

The Western Chassis setup I bought will definitely fit a '93 as well.

2 / 3.5 will make GenII's even.

Here's my Dakota 2/4. You can tell it is a little lower in the rear. I raised it an inch and now its a little higher in the rear than the front. So, I know 2/3.5 is perfect.

I have a lot of things I'd like to do. Wheels and rollpan for sure.
