Message: Thats considered one of the lowest profiles for a 20. The 255/35 is very popular and is manufactured by many companies. Only one company I know of makes a 255/30 which is absolute lowest 20 inch profile I could ever find. You should probably run 255/40 but you will probably rub on rough roads. I would go 255/35 to be safe although its the low-profile, high treadwear tire you aren't seeking. For comparison I had 255/35 on a 4/6 and it rubbed once and blue moon on back water roads with big dips. On a 3/5 I know it would be completly safe. But it you want to live life a little dangerously You could go with 255/40 and get away with it.

Message: I thought that would be a popular size but after checking at the tire rack they didn't carry one. Geez I can't believe anyone doesn't carry something like that. He might have to go for a 245/40/20 cause everybody seems to produce them. Its a 10 millimeter width difference (narrower) and 4 millimeters lower in sidewall height.

Message: With that kind of a drop I would do the 255(or whatever)/35 series. The 40 I think is too big for that wheel and drop, and the 30 is too extreme. With the 35 series I think you should be fine yet you still have to drive careful. My buddy had a problem with rubbing only once from a huge dip where the wheel bounced up and hit the fender lip. He has the Kumho 712s and they are real nice.
