Subject: Hotchkis on an R/T?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a quick question guys...I already have some 2" Springtech coils and i'm either gonna get some Hotchkis leaf and 1" blocks and lower my R/T that way or I'll...

Get some 3" coils and get some Hotchkis leaf and 2" blocks. Is the 3"/5" drop a bad way to go or should i just go the 2"/4"? I need some opinions...Thanks,

As long as your pinion angle is good you're fine. Your leafs ground clearance will look like chopped up Nissan though.

Be sure to use STEAL, not ALUMNINUM blocks.

alright, thanks for the response xplikt! i just dont want my tires rubbing on the fender flairs. I i dont wanna have to get bigger bump stops because i dont want my ride to be really $hitty! So u think that 3" coils and 3" hotchkis leafs/1" or 2" blocks would be fine? Thanks,

-Matt

Are you running the stock tires on your R/T? You might need to roll your fender lip if you still have the stock tires, but 3" should be fine. Same as me running my 29" on a 2" drop.

A 3/4 would be more of a rake, but a 3/5 would level it out more.
