I lowered my rear 3.5 and I thought it looked great. The more I looked at it I saw that hte left side was lower than the right. I measured it and sure enough the left is an inch lower than the right side. The shackles were adjustable and I made sure that the leaf is bolted into the middle hole on the shackle. So it is not that, but other than that I dont know. I was thinking that I may not have the leaf bolted in tight enough on the shackle in the rear, and that is hte one that has the hanger that allows the leaf to move.

If anyone has had this problem or can understand what I am talking about, please help me out.

And no I don't have a flat tire. :)

Left side (driver) is where the gas tank, brakes, power steering, battery and you sit. It usually is about 1/2" lower on the left side. 1" seems like a bit more than usual, but could be more.

when I installed my kit the directions said that if you tightened the leaf spring to shackles/hanger bolts to much, it could hold one side up to high or down to low. try loosening them a little bit, see if that fixes it.

Those eye bolts should be torqued to, I think, 120 ft. lbs. I don't think untighening them is the way to go.

another post on another site.

"Well, I went out and measured my wheel well height from the ground, a couple of times just to make sure I was accurate. I measured without doing anything to the truck and got about 1-1/2" more height on the passenger side. I then straightend the wheels out, rolled the truck back and forth, bounced on the bumpers a couple of times, then re-measured again and found only 3/8" difference in height between the two. If you remember, I asked you which way you turn into your driveway and here's why; your wheels rotate on the axis of your ball joints and the angle is called the thrust. The thrust will cause a vehicle to compensate for the weight transfer when you roll into a turn. When making a turn, the outside wheel will raise the vehicle and the inside wheel will lower the vehicle, simaltaneously. If you turn into your driveway to the right, the driver side will raise and the passenger will lower. The camber and toe-in will also affect the physics of the turn to a certain degree, but not as much as the thrust. Well, I won't bore you anymore with this stuff , so I'll leave it at that. I hope it helps." ....Ricky

Maybe that will help some
