295 with such a small side wall might be pushing it on a 8.5" rim... couldn't find any info on the tires (Who makes that size?) but I would think a 9-10" rim would be more approiate... 275 would work well for you... and with a 10" rim you could go 305 or even 315. I know the vipers run anywhere from a 275-315 front on a 17x10.
