I am going to get 20" KMC Venom rims for my 1999 Dakota R/T CC. I might do a 2/3 lowering kit, but not positive. What size tires should I get? 255/50/R20, 255/35/R20, or???? Also, before I get these do they make any good looking 22's for our trucks? where can I find them? thanks, 99CCRT

How wide are your rims? Whose lowering kit do you plan to use?

If you have at least 20x8" rims and you are using a good kit than I would say you should be able to use up to a 29" tall tire. That would be 255/45/20. I went to a 28" tire for my setup. (In your case that would be 255/40/20)

Ok thanks for the info! I just called the guy and my only 2 options for tires are 255/50/R20(30" tall) and 255/35/R20(27" tall). He said I should get the 255/35/R20 if I want to do a 2/3 hotchkins drop, becasue the other ones would rub.

295/35/20 rear and 255/35/20 front.. will give it a mean stance and hook up really well.
