I went with the belltech 2/4 kit. Very happy with it and i think its a bit cheaper than the Hotchkis. It comes with front coils and rear shackles. This involves cutting the old ones off and reusing your factory leafs. A lot nicer than those stupid ass blocks that ya can see from a mile away. I would advise getting the shocks as well. I got the nitro drop shocks and the ride is firm but not bone jarring. Good luck....

i found a complete 2/4 belltech kit, including nitro-shocks in jcwhitney.com for $440. that's the cheapest i've seen anywhere by about $100. i'm thinkin of doing it myself but my dakota is an 01 model and this kit is made for 97-00. does anyone know if the suspension changed at all in the 01's?

lets see, bought 3in coils from sprintech- 80 bucks, bought used 5in rear shackles/hangers for 90, and a front pair of doestech shocks for 40, all prices include shipping, so its 210 for a 3/5 drop, and i might buy some moog ball joints for 100 a pair.
