Message: People amuze me. You want a cheap kit that will handle and ride like a dream. Keep dreaming, Great handling and smooth riding lowered suspensions costs lots of money so either save up or go the cheap route. Cheap route= new lowering springs and drop blocks, cost=$ ......Great ride and still look low= lowered arms or spindles + shorter spring but not as short as in first applicaton, and in the rear,,,shackles and hangers.....shocks all the way around, cost=$$$ and now for the best handling and traction replace the whole leaf system in the back and put a link setup on it or coilover, cost=$$$$$$

Message: As I stated on another thread, save up and get the Hotchkis Kit. I had one installed on my Stampede today, and it looks AWESOME!!!!!!! It gives it a 2/3 drop along with great handling. It is more costly but well worth the investment.

Message: I did not say I wanted a cheap drop kit! I just was not sure if I wanted to pay 700+ for the hotchkis. Is that so much better then a 400+ beltech drop, or whatever western chassis gives. I don't wont the truck to ride like a cadillac, I just dont want it to jar my brains out. Well, thanks for replying. I guess you would recommend the hotchis? Is the hotchkis that much better?

Message: I got the belltech on mine and it rides smooth. just need better shocks for the rebound. It all came in a kit from JC whitney catalog. All belltech. And just for 5 bills. Installation was a pain cuz instructions was not detail. It took 3 days.

Message: If you can handle the price, get the Hotchkis TVS. You won't regret it.

Message: I got the 2/4 belltech coils, shackles, nitro drop shocks all round. I also have 18's and was pleased with the results. I will say that it is not a real slammed look. More sporty. The good news is that it still rides nice and it won't killl your pocket.
