 Subject: truck got keyed...need advice

Well i have to have my whole truck repainted,i left it parked on the side of the highway with a flat tire and the next day i found out that some stupied a$$ had keyed my poor dakota,they got both sides,the tailgate and the new paint on the fenders and the hood from my wreak about a year ago :( Well my question is,sense i have to have the whole thing painted why go the same color,its patriot blue now,i was thinking the yellow that the ford stangs are i already have a 99 4x4 cc ram with the darker yellow,does anyone have any suggestions and maybe pics of that color

yea that is a very nice color and if you ask me its the nicest color out there when clean but i had a black 97 4x4 nissan and i live on a dirtroad and it was just sooo hard to keep nice and clean and shiny but if i lived in town i would defenatly paint my dakota that color.

get medium kazar blue. it is a medium darkness metallic from gm. it is on alot of camaros. my buddy has a z28 a 94 with that color it is awsome.

just a word of advice. if you paint your truck a bright color (blue, red, yellow) the cops will take more notice of it than if you hand a dull color. i love bright colors too but it has cost me in tickets. of course if you don't speed it doesn't matter.

Hey if you paint your truck a different color, you will have to paint all the jambs as well(ie. doors, underhood, and tailgate). If you don't your truck will end up looking like crap. And if your looking at different colors, try looking at the lambrogini colors. They have awesome colors, like a tri-coat yellow and a tri-coat orange.

use the metallic rusty/orange color that you find on the F350's, ford starts all the colors so go look at their dealership for good ideas
