Subject: If you have 3" coils, read please. IP: Logged
Message: I just lowered my 98 Dakota this morning with the DJM 3/5 drop kit. The rear looks great but the springs haven't settled in the front yet so it drives like a boat haha. Any one have a estimate on time before they will even out with the back?
Thanks,
Matt

Message: if you have a v8 then a week tops if you have a v6 then they will never settle enough to level out. if it is very noticeable then i am guessing you have the v6. just slap on some djm 2 inch carms. thats what i did.

Message: Yeah man, I've got a 98 2.5 engine and I did the 4/6 DJM kit, but I switched out the 2" lowering springs for the 3" ones making it a 5/6 kit but because of the light weight of the 4 Cylinder it's probably more like a 4/6 drop. So get some A-Arms from DJM, they're really nicely made too.
