Subject: Ground Force Drop for RT IP: Logged
Message: Has anybody tried the 2-2 or 2-3.5 drop from ground force for RT's. How was the ride? Is it better than belltech? Which one looks better? Level? Thanks, Corey.

Message: A Ground Force lowering kit consists of 2" coils and 2" blocks. That will only lower an R/T 1" in the front and a full 2" in the rear. It wont even looked like its lowered if u have the stock R/T 17's on. If u plan on running 20's, thats the way to go. It wont rub and will look good. but thats my opinion.
I'm not sure if it will ride better than Belltech. To me, coils are coils, they all ride the same. Right now i'm running a 3"/5" drop on my R/T and i need smaller tires or the tires rub. hope this helped,

Message: Matt why bother post if ya dont know what your talking about? the R/T ground force kit is 2/3 drop for R/T's witch as it says will drop your R/T 2/3.
Its a good kit but I would get better shocks as the toxic shocks kinda suck but they will ride better then factory shocks till you could afford to replace them if you dont like the ride.
Hotckis is better performance wise but its not as much drop and cost nearly twice as much. I think the ground force is a good kit for the price.

Message: I have the right answer. Just got mine installed. For the R/T, it's part number 9356 and it is a 2/2 drop, not 2/3. Kit is good and true 2 inch drop front and rear and this is why I chose this one. I wanted the rear slightly higher as that's the stance I like. There is one error though in the instructions........the front end, instructions tell you to cut 1/2 inch front the front snubbers, well I got home and 1/2 inch not enough, it was riding on the stoppers, had to cut an additional 1/2 inch. better now and ride is acceptable. I could post a photo if someone tells me how. Good kit for the $$

Message: I personally looked into the djm 2/3 kit but passed. I wanted the stance of a 2/2 drop. I did alot of research and that was best for me
