Subject: Balljoint mounting! IP: Logged
Message: As anyone can see if you have been following my posts, i am having loads of trouble replacing my lower control arms. my question this time comes with installing the new ones. the new control arms already have the balljoint mounted in them. that balljoint needs to set down back into the spindle. how would i go about doing that? a friend suggested just nailing the female part of the balljoint down until it pops in. i tried that, and it didnt seem to work. any suggestions? comments?

Message: Dont worry bro, i had major problems installing my a arms. If you jack the lower arm up pretty high and then line it up and lower it slowly it should pop into place. My 2-3 drop has turned out to be a nightmare. I have to get new exhaust, new upper control arms, and change the rear shocks out. Its been a big pain in the ass. Good luck though.
