Subject: Help! - riding on bump stops IP: Logged
Message: I've got an '01 CC 4.7, and I used a Ground Force 2/2 kit (spings/blocks), and I've always enjoyed. Lately I've noticed it's a lot rougher,,looked under the truck and at rest it's sitting on the bump stops.
Now I'm not very educated on suspensions at all, but I'm sure that's not good. Does this happen? - do springs weaken in the course of a year?
IF this is bad - I'm thinking of going w/the RT springs up front, or Hotchkis. Anyone have any suggestions on which one I should use. I would like to keep the back the same (lowered 2 inches). Would the RT springs level it out you think?
I'm just really afraid that I'll hit a pot hole and crack/shatter something.
Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm looking to remedy this as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
Andy

Thanks,
