Subject: Best overall "kit"?? IP: Logged
Message: I just bought a 2000 2wd v-6 Club cab and would like to drop it. I just spent a few hours browsing the various and usual drop kit sites and still no idea what would be best. I drive the truck eveyrday on country roads and would haul a motorcycle a time or two, so a stiff spring rate would be good. Anyone with the Hotchkis leafs have any complaints? Whats a good spring to put up front that wouldn't be too bouncy? How low can I go before I loose the ability to align the front end properly?
Thanks

Message: I have the hotchkis on mine. Clik on my profile and you will get a better picture of it. In my opinion i think its great. I had no problems getting it alligned. I use it to tow every now and then and carry some stuff in the back. No complaints so far. I have the 2/3 drop on it.

Message: I'm running the stock R/T wheels with 255/55R17's. They're great, it doesn't rub at all.
