Message: Hey phil I see you got the kit!! I actually took off my rear shocks and put my stock ones back on but that is only with a 31/2 drop! The ride was way to stiff in the back! Not enough weight as the front! I recommend that you get shocks for the front and leave the back on and see how you like it!

Message: When I had a 2/3 drop on my truck, I went with djm shocks and hanger setup for the rear and a western drop arm up front. The rear was too loose with the stock shocks. You want a little firmness just because your that much closer to the ground and your bumbstops. I was always hittind my bumpstops so I took it out and it never hit the frame. In the end I switch the rear shocks over to the djm shocks and I will admit they are stiff. THe front was a little change but I have a v-8

Message: Mine bounced everywhere with the stock shocks. I have a 3/5 and I ran stock shocks for a while. It felt like I had trampolines on it.

Message: yeah definitely change the front! But try the stockers in the back before swappin em out and go drive on a bumpy road and see if it is rough in the back! I rarely hit bumpstops...only on a big bump!
