is it easy or somewhat hard to install shackles and hangers (5in drop) for the rear? i have a 97 dodge dakota. are the stock ones rivetted on? and the lowering ones bolt ons? thanks

yes, stock ones-riveted. drop ones-bolt on.
there's kinda a few ways to get the rivets out (they've been posted many times). i've never done it, so i'll let someone else tell u how; or u could look for the other posts. Peace

a die grinder with a cut off wheel to cut the head off the rivet, pound it out with a hammer and a big punch or screw driver...
