Message: you dont NEED them. but it will lay alot harder(not sure if it will lay at all w/o them) if you have them. i have 2" western chassis lower control arms and it lays crossmember in front no problem. i dont have 4 link yet. just mono leafed, step notched and bagged but i have shocks in the rear so its not that bad.
later

Message: i only have them in the back for now... but the ride with the monos and shocks isnt too bad at all. i think it rides quite smoothly. the shocks slow it a very little bit going down. but not a very noticeable amount. and we actually havent even relocated them. stock mounts. not sure if i will have to either. i have doetch tech(spelling?) drop shocks in. which i had all around when just lowered. and that is what will go in the front.
talk to you later

Message: kooldak.... don't even bother getting the drop a-arms. You'll lay with or without them. I found it easier to lay with my stockers than with the westerns. The only difference between the two is cutting the he!! out of the drop A-arms or trimming the frame to clear the sway bar. choice is yours. If you decide on the drop a-arms... I'll sell you my westerns
I also have a parralel 4-link/ panhard bar from suicidedoors.com . Its a simple setup but it lays. won't get crazy lift like a cantilever setup, but it will get out of its own way plenty

Message: BEEFY!!!!! the only thing I didn't like about the whole kit is the bolts that mount up to the upper bars..... they're too short. Its an easy fix on Jason's part. When I ordered mine, I asked for an unwelded 4-link and cut /welded it myself so I didn't have to wait. Its holding up well. Matter of fact the only thing that broke are the things that I made from scratch like the panhard bar
